My mum passed away today

My lovely Mum lost her battle to stomach cancer today. 

She had been in a coma for 4 days so we knew it was coming, but it didn't make it any easier. I just don't know how to feel! I love my mum so much, and we've been close for my entire life. I'm only 22 and she never got to see me do so many things.

When will it sink in that she's gone forever? Part of me doesn't believe that she's gone.

    I'm so sorry for your loss Lucy, I too lost my mum to cancer 4weeks ago & am really struggling to come to terms with the reality of living life without my mum. She only got her diagnosis 4weeks before we lost her, up until then we had no idea she was even poorly. Sitting reading all the posts on here makes you realise how many people have to deal with losing loved ones to cancer. I hope talking to people that understand is helping you find a way threw.

    Meg I'm so sorry for your loss :( your story is so sad. Cancer truly is the worst disease which affects all of us in some way! Unfortunately for us it has taken our Mums far too soon. 

    Thank you, I hope you too are getting all the support you need and are managing to pull through this awful period. 

    Living our lives without our Mums will be hard, but they wouldn't want us to live a sad life just because they are no longer with us. X
