Bowel cancer.

Hi I lost my fiancé on the 3rd of October. He lost his fight against bowel cancer. We fought it together for  9 months to be told it was back and was told he had 3 months he died 2 days later. Really struggling with the loss at the same time trying to understand how it was so fast.

  • Hi Tilly,

Welcome to this friendly and supportive forum. I was so sorry to read your post. I have just lost my brother in law to prostate cancer. He seemed to be doing reasonably well apart from trouble eating. He went into a hospice for a couple of days respite care and two weeks later he passed away from aggresive cancer which had got to his throat.  He went downhill so fast. This Wednesday I also had the news my father in Canada has also passed away from prostate cancer and old age (he was 93).

I fully understand when you say you are struggling. Please come on here as often as you need to for ther are loads of wonderful people on here who know how you must be feeling.

Sending kind thoughts your way, Brian
