Welcome to the forum Catmancity although I'm really sorry to hear you lost your mum to small cell lung cancer last year. You have my heartfelt condolences for your loss.

Having regular dreams about your mum and going through the heartbreak of losing her again and again must be incredibly difficult. I can't begin to imagine how upsetting this must be but I'm glad you've reached out to us as we have a lot of members within our community who have sadly experienced similar heartbreak and loss, so you are not alone Catmancity, and I'm sure you will receive some support and advice from them soon.

Coping with grief can be very challenging. I'm not sure from your post if you have sought out any support, but if not, this may be something to look in to. In the first instance you could try speaking to your GP and finding out how they can help and what local support services may be in your area. There are also many charities such as Cruse Bereavement Support and Sue Ryder who provide grief support and counselling to anyone who is struggling with their loss, so this is another avenue you could explore when you feel ready to do so.

I hope some of my suggestions will help Catmancity but in the meantime, continue to take things one day and remember that we will always be here to support you.
