My sister is terminal and im finding it hard to cope!

Hi my name is kellie and i am find it incredibley hard to cope and stay strong for my sister,on the outside i look ok and strong but inside my hearts being torn apart.my sister has been diagnoised with stage 2 soft tissue clear cell sarcoma lymphoma and its very rare which means theres no treatment,i believe she is only the 75th person in britian to have contracted this....she lives 3 months at a time depending on her results.....is there a group i can join just so i have someone to talk to who understands my fears and feelings away from my family? She is going to die and i am finding it incredibley hard to accept.

  • Hi Kellie,

I'm afraid I can't answer your question, but didn't want you to feel you were being ignored.
Hopefully someone else may be better able to help.

    Best wishes
    Dave

  • Hi there, welcome to the forum and sorry to see why you're here. There are plenty of people on here that will understand your fears and feelings. Feel free to post away. Have you looked on Facebook to see if there are any groups for her actual diagnosis?

  • Hi Kellie, my name is Kate, I was diagnosed with stage 2 Clear Cell Sarcoma in December 2017. I will send you a friend request if you would prefer to speak more privately we can message?

I don’t know about groups to joins specifically but I am here for you to talk to if you want ️

  • I am so sorry to read about your sister.  I just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel.  My sister has breast cancer which has spread to her bones, nearly all over her skeleton.  She was diagnosed in January last year.  She was 43 at the time.  She is living life as much as she can but it's devastating to think there isn't anything that we can do to make it go away.  She is incurable which I guess is a nicer way of saying terminal.

    Sending big hugs xxx
