Advice/Guidance

My dad has been recently diagnosed with Methoselioma.  He is getting very angry at my mam about everything and doesnt want to discuss anything.  Is there anything I can do to support my mam, apart from what I am already doing and being there.

I feel frustrated that I am not doing enough. Thank you.

  • Hello Habbott12,

You seem to be very caring as you worry you are not doing enough - your mam must be very grateful for the support you are already giving her. Being there is the most important thing you can do for her I am sure.

If there is one person on this forum who knows what it's like to care for a loved one with mesothelioma, it's  the lovely jules54 so I hope she picks up your post and replies. Perhaps you could edit the title of your thread to include the name of your dad's cancer so that others affected by the same type can see it and respond? Maybe something like "Advice/Guidance: Dad diagnosed with mesothelioma"

So I will now let our forum folk welcome you with open arms! And rest assured, there are plenty of open arms here...
