Husband Stage IV Prostate Cancer

Husband starts chemo in 3 weeks .PC has spread to lymph glands and hip bone. He is  in lots of pain st present with swelling in groin/testicle and leg. Things seem to be taking so long and this feels like it has gone on forever between appointand treatment and i dont think prognosis is good. He is 72.   I am scared to cry as I feel I will never stop. I feel useless.

  • Hi Louie52, and a warm welcome to the forum, I also have T4 prostate cancer and early on i had oedema caused by lymph nodes releasing a fluid which ended up in my leg and was treated by raising it up, a pillow is enough and  my partner massaging it 2 to3 times a day. Hope this helps,
