Hiya, I'm 20 years old and my mum is 49. Mum has recently had a few lumps come up around her body including her head, pelvis, leg. She was recently diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer, and unfortunately it is already gone so far it can't be treated. They haven't given her very long to live (months). She did have some radiotherapy on her head, pelvis, and leg, but she isn't having anymore. She was going to have chemotherapy but the doctors decided it would only do more damage than good. Mum is now home from hospital (has been for nearly 2 weeks). I am the main person caring for her, and I just would like to know some things I should expect from the time now on. She has a large lump on her head, towards the back, that is really big (like a large potato) and looks like it's stretching the skin, and mum keeps complaining of headaches and saying it feels like it is tight. I am worried it could burst. Mum can't walk very well at all, she has to use a zimmer frame when getting to the bathroom. There has been a couple of times recently where she hasn't made it in time to the toilet and she is having some difficulty hearing, and also had a small choking/ inhaling incident at dinner tonight. I'm just starting to get a bit worried and wondering what to expect. I've done lots of research online about end of life care and what I should be looking out for but it's quite hard to really get a clear picture of it. Thanks in advance
