Male Breast Cancer - post treatment follow up

I'm a man. I was diagnosed with and treated for breast cancer in 2022. I was discharged from oncology care in 2023 with no further follow-up. I was told that there is no follow-up protocol for male patients. The best they 'offered' me was if I found another lump to go back to my GP.

I tried to get some support from my GP but they were not interested.

This all seems wrong and very unfair, but all my attempts to raise my concerns have fallen on deaf ears.

Is this the approach across the UK or am I particularly unlucky with regard to my local services?.
