It may vary from hospital to hospital how you will get your results. If you are still in touch with your breast specialist nurse (CNS), they would be the best person to contact as they know your situation.

You should also be told how you will receive your results when you have your mammogram.

I went for my mammagram on the 25th April i am still waiting for my results.

They did say it would be about 6 weeks. If they would of been anything would they have been in touch sooner.

I am a bit worried just want to know the results now.

Hi Peggy, I can only talk from my experience, which may be different from yours. The mammogram technician would compare my latest mammogram with the previous mammogram while I was in the room, and would tell me that she couldn't see any changes. I just had to wait for it to be official. I would like to think if your technician saw anything amis, then it would be flagged up to the radiologist ASAP.
