Had my prostate cancer 37 session radiotherapy completed about three weeks ago
suddenly have a problem with passing out water, a few drops at a time and have urge to wee again after a few minutes, with the same result again with discomfort
Hi Bal and welcome to the forum though sorry you have to be here. A lot of guys get retention issues after RT It's called Irritative voiding, and symptoms do settle over time, I was the same, peeing very little but often and the less urine i passed the more discomfort i felt especially in the gland. Bal there is also a small chance you may have a urethral stricture or nerve damage so please see your doctor. I did and was given tamulosin and told to drink plenty of water and went from peeing for maybe a second to 4 seconds in about a week, doesn't sound much i know, but it makes a big difference to getting out and about, best wishes
