I have had an inverted nipple for many years now and my GP said it is just something that sometimes happens but I was sent for breast screening just to make sure. There was no cancer. I have not had any puckering at any time though.

It is normal for some women to have inverted nipples. The important thing for you is you have been checked out in a breast clinic and nothing abnormal was found.

As long as you don't notice any other changes there is no reason to be concerned. Of course if you notice anything unusual in the future see your GP about it and they can send you back to the breast unit if needed.
