Apologies for driving people mad (including myself)

I just wanted to say I am sorry to anyone on here who listens to me.. I don't mean to go on and on

But I'm so frightened of another upcoming appointment which I didn't expect.

But I also want to say the most huge thankyou for always being there..

And if ok I hope I can still ask questions if you all don't mind.

Much love to you all.

  • I know we have spoken before and I appreciate you have huge health anxiety. But is a cancer forum really the best place to be when you don’t have a diagnosis? Lots of us with cancer have our own stories to tell, but they are not your story..and it must surely fuel your anxiety further to hear them.

We’ve all had to wait for tests and procedures and we know how hard that can be, but there is no way round it. Different tests rule out different things and you are having them to get to the bottom of the issues you are having. But ultimately no-one here can tell you what’s wrong, and you cannot diagnose yourself, so it seems that you will make your anxiety even worse by messaging people who do have cancer, trying to find information which may or may not be relevant to you.

I hope you’re not offended by this-I don’t mean to upset you further. I appreciate you are very anxious, but until you get some sort of diagnosis, I can’t see how it can be truly helpful for you to immerse yourself in a cancer forum. xx

  • Hi as minska says reading about cancer on internet or reading about cancer people and comparing with your symptoms is not a good idea at all, alot of symptoms are same for different things some of them very minor and easily cured,.  But I knoticed you are talking to others and helping them so well done, hope you're appointment goes well.

Take care keep safe and try to get positive.

  • Thankyou for your kindness Billy.... I'm not trying to upset anyone at all..

I just wanted people to talk to xx

    I'm so scared.

  • Alot of forum people are very scared it does seem to ease after diagnosis because at least they know one way or the other, but then they start worrying about treatment options. And time of waiting before things get started ,or if not cancer they worry about results being wrong and something missed.

It's easier to get on with life just ignore it best you can, find something to occupy yourself always housework and garden or with you being a lady"shopping" hehehe.oops .

    Take care keep safe.
