Hi, I am 57 and having been suffering with bowel changes for a few months now, plus acid indigestion, then about 5 weeks ago started with a more or less constant ache in lower belly rather like period pain, plus pain at top of my leg , bloating feeling sick and fatigue etc...I have had a FIT test which was ok, am now waiting on blood test results. Doctor could not feel a lump so did not push for an urgent scan,this was 12th of July, she said if blood test showed anything then they would get me in quicker as yet no appoinment. Blood test was on Monday 19th.
A few years ago I was diagnosed with a large fibroid 11cm and a couple of cysts, I took the drug Esmyra to shrink the fibroid and put me through early menopause. Sine then I have had no follow up examinations.
Doctor thinks it Ovarian Cancer or Colitis (I don't think it's Colitis) I was wondering if it could due to fibroids and cysts rather than cancer. Or that cancer was missed years ago and its advanced now, I never had a biospy at the time. This waiting for a scan is making me so anxious , I know there's something wrong, I just need to know what? Sorry if I am rambling, any advice would be welcome. Thx.
