I have been looking on line for the urgent referral department at local hospital. The only thing that comes up is the Macmillan help line.

Hi
I had a long talk with my consultant and he answered all my questions and put my mind at ease.
All tests so far have come back negative. Good news so far.
I have to wait for the results of the biopsies on my colon and have the 3month review for my liver.
I am feeling more possitive about the outcome now.
Pls keep in touch and let me know how you are getting on.
I will update you when I know more.
Thank you for your help and support so far.
xx
It does help speaking to the consultant doesant it. I had blood tests at gp today to check how my liver function is etc, as I'm on this new medication they are monitoring. Speak to gp next tues about that.
I also have the 3 month mri in nov/dec to check liver abscess is not bigger or doing anything weird. Hopefully it has shrunk.
Keep in touch
Xxx
I hope all is remaining stable for you when you are next tested.

They will looking for a reduction in my inflammatory markers and my calcium and alkaline phosphate levels, so hope so.
Thanks for listening to me too, this forum is a good thing isnt it xx
Yes, I really hope so too as this can't be easy for you.
I have to have screening bloods taken, to rule out cancer.
My Consultant is being very thorough.
Yes this forum is wonderful. It helps to be able to connect with others going through same or similar concerns.
xx
Hope your bloods come back ok.
I'm used to it all now, I even joke to my partner sometimes I'm feeling a bit liverish lol
I've also joined a couple of Facebook groups for people with the condition.
Seems most people respond well to the medication but also get adhoc tummy aches and fatigue too.
Morning, thank you on the bloods.
It's great that you've found others with the same condition. If u know what I mean...
Facebook is good for that too.
Hope you have a good day.
xx
Have a lovely day xx
Hi,
just wondering what it is on your liver I apprenly have six FNH never being biopsies had two MRI with contrast due another in October so worried x
They think it's an abscess. I'm having another mri with contrast oct/nov.
I have a liver condition called Primary Billiary Cholongitis, an autoimmune disease, where my body thinks my bile ducts are foreign objects so attack them, they think an infection caused by this condition caused the abscess.
