New mole appeared out of nowhere

Hi, I'm 20 years old and have really bad health anxiety and my biggest fear is cancer. I found a mole today under my arm that has just appeared within this week. It is dark brown and seems to be a normal shape but I can't stop worrying nonetheless. I'm also afraid of bothering my doctors with this but also can't stop having anxiety and panic attacks over it. Any help or recommendations would be much appreciated, thank you !

    Hi Natalie,

    I agree with everything Tracy has advised. The GP won't think you are bothering them so don't worry about contacting them. There is every chance your mole is fine but it needs checking out, especially for your peace of mind. It's natural for new moles to appear at your age but a quick check should ease your fears and, if it does look a bit dodgy, it's been caught very, very quickly.     Hi Angie, thanks so much for your reply. I had it checked out just now and they reassured me that it was just a normal mole and as you said natural for new moles to appear. Thank you so much for your help! :happy:
