I had an endoscope with sedation yesterday and didnt feel a thing or even remember it being done.

I received a report showing the result of endoscope whilst I was still there.

I'm more frightened of their findings today and what that will mean for me x

I had an ultrasound which discovered a 2cm mass on my liver, last week ct confirmed this, but no further info. Endoscopy showed nothing much. I had an liver mri on sunday, still awaiting results of this. Seems diagnosis is a drawn out thing.

I asked my gp for anxiety medication, she prescribed an anti depressant SSRI, which has some side effects I dont like the sound of, so havent taken yet. I hoped for something  more that would help to relax me a bit.

I suffer from extreme health anxiety. My gp put me on anti anxiety medication 2 weeks ago but hasn't kicked in yet.

I used to take kalms they are good.

I agree it's all taking to long for me it's been going on for over 7 weeks..

Its to much... The ct showed a soft tissue nodule at the ampulla but now they want to look in the duodenum today.. I'm out of my mind with worry..I thought with an mri you'd get the results quickly.

You must be desperate to know what is going on xx

I was told 1 to 2 weeks for the result of mri. I dont even know how it will be communicated to me, gp, consultant, no idea.

I dont usually suffer from anxiety, it's this thing that's caused it. I spoke to a locum dr from my gp, who couldnt understand why this was causing me anxiety, as I would find out what it was, that's a good thing isnt it. ! Then she said why cant I turn my thoughts off.  Wasnt happy with her opinion! 

Your not serious!!!! That's dreadful.

That doesn't help at all. Hopefully they'll never feel like this if they get in this position.

Well she did eventually prescribe anti depressants. I did cut her off in anger, she rang back&I said I cut her off by mistake lol. Thing is though gps can be useless, mine tends to be reactive rather than proactive, we need them on our side so no point complaining

I'm sitting here getting more and more nervous for my appointment x

Try and think of a nice memory. I had to wait 2 hours before they eventually did my endoscope. Nurses and drs very nice. I laid on the trolley and burst into tears, they were very nice, I stopped then started again lol. They said you will feel a little sleepy soon, next thing I remember was waking up in the recovery room, asking what type of biscuits I would like with my tea. Your be home soon xx

I just wanted to let you know that everything appears normal. I can't tell you how relieved I am..

I cried buckets as did my partner.

I asked the nurse 4 times if I have cancer she said no..

No biopsies taken.

I still have a couple of questions for my gp.
