As many of our members know, this will be quite a scary and challenging time until you know more but fingers crossed the mammogram results will bring good news in 2 weeks time.

Going through exactly the same thing.  Awaiting a date from the urgent referral (doc only referred today).  My lump is also large, it feels like an olive in my breast!  It's hard, painless, smooth(ish) and a little mobile.  
 

I am sick to my stomach with worry and also think how have I missed this lump.

It wasn't good news for me. Advised that I have a cyst and a mass about an inch long that looks cancerous. They can't confirm till I get my biopsy results on Wednesday but basically told I have cancer. 
 

Hopfully yours will be a cyst. Just try to keep busy I hear the waiting is the worst part.

So sorry for your news.  However still hold on to the hope that the biopsy results could show something different... but whatever happens sending hugs to you and will be thinking of you Wednesday!

don't know how I am going to get through this waiting....

It's tough - I slept as much as I could.
