I was diagnosed with ibs when i was around 16 im now 28 and really struggling.
My appendix ruptured in 2013 and the pains been unbareable on and off since.blood and mucus in my stools started a year or so ago the pain is all my right side and sometimes below my ribs . After numerous visits to a& e and the doctors My gp eventually took 1st ever stool sample in april something has come back high in it been refered for urgent investigations. Has anyone had anything similar?
Really anxious about a possible colonoscopy and what results to expect.
