Welcome to the forum Anxious.. although I'm sorry about the troubles you've been having since 2013. It sounds like it's been very tough.

Hopefully some of our members who have been in a similar situation will get back to you soon but whilst you wait I hope this information we have about urgent referrals and colonoscopies (if you have one) will help put your mind at ease.

Thank you i have spoken with a bowel nurse today who has suggested a colonoscopy within next 2 weeks. X

That's great news Anxious.

Hi, hope you are okay. I have literally just posted a similar post. I have blood on my stool and have had mucus in my stool since December. My doctor's don't seem to want to help and I'm really scared. The first blood in my stool was on Thursday but I have been pestering them about the mucus since December. I'm glad you are booked in to have a colonoscopy, and fingers crossed for you xx

Keep pestering until they do something.do you lose blood an mucus with every bowel movent?i think they got fed up with me so started doing tests. Im just waiting for a phone call to say date and time but said will be done within next couple of weeks.
