I don't have any advice but have been finding these forums helpful. I had a letter last night also HPV positive with severe high grade dyskaryosis, have an appointment at the oncology ward in a week. 

I'll come back to let you know how it goes but it's so great we've been screened and can now tackle whatever it is head on. xxx

The HPV virus is the cause of abnormal cells, but abnormal cells are not cancer. Most sexually active people will have had the HPV virus, but in the vast majority of cases it doesn’t cause any issues, and people will not know they have it. 

Sometimes, however, it can cause cells in the cervix to change but being described as low grade changes means that this has been caught early and can be easily treated, or in some cases just monitored. 

The colposcopy will allow a closer look at your cervix and a liquid will be applied to identify the area of abnormal cells. From there will be decided what action needs to be taken, if any. Try not to stress yourself out over this...it’s a really common thing to have, and easily treated.
