High PSA

I have just had a message from my GP to say my blood test gave a  PSA  reading of 29. Awaiting for an appointment with an urologist. I am 80 yrs old. I am a new member here, and have tried to send this on this site a couple of times, I must be doing something wrong. I and my wife are in such a state.

 I see the post has come up now. Further to above , I had brown coloured semen. The gp done the basic tests. The only other symptom is peeing a lot more in the day but not at night.Hope this makes sense, I am so anxious.

    Hi sorry you've got prostate problems, there's a few of us had different treatments.

    There's [@telemando]‍  and [@woodworm]‍  quite regularly on forum and very helpful advice.

    I'm a bit different I'm on palative care since Feb 2016 , prostate cancer gone to lymph nodes spine ribs pelvis and a lung PSA 1580 stage 4 still living normal life despite on permanent treatment (hormone therapy) im a carer for my darling wife she has Alzheimer's and Parkinson's plus other problems.

    Hope this helps to relax you a bit we've all been where you are now and know what its like and still on the go
