Hi. I posted a few months ago but unfortunately I'm no further on. I saw my Dr. I have two lumps, one on the top of the clitoris, and one nearer the base sort of half on half off. They are white, quite firm and touching them causes rough sensations like I'm rubbing sandpaper on them. I've also had a burning vagina that comes and goes, and recently managed to cut the inside of my vagina during the night (i must have caught it itching in my sleep?) She said it might be an infection even though I had no signs of infection. I took the medication she gave. She said if the symptoms and lumps didn't subside i wasn't to contact again bc it's 'just a lump.'
Then, I became sexully active. I know the fist couple of times might hurt because it feels tight ect, but its not that kind of pain. Every time we try I get really really bad shooting pains in the left side of my stomach, they're unbearable. If he's extremely gentle and we tactical position, I can get comfy enough to tolerate it, but I can't say it's a fun experience. I told the nurse about this pain at my smear and showed her the lumps. The nurse requested my dr get me a gyn appointment bc it is not acceptable for a 25 year old woman to have these symptoms. The dr refused, and had the receptionist text me a vaginal moisturiser to buy over the counter.
Despite knowing the pain was in my stomach not in my vaginal canal, I tried the lubricant. Unsurprising it didn't work, it didn't even reduce the burning sensations that come and go (to which there really seems to be no trigger).
For the past 2 months, I have now also been experiencing a pain, it feels like it goes from around my clitoris area to the left side of my stomach. When it starts I can't move, it really hurts. The pain can last from anything between 2/3 mins to half an hour. In the past six weeks I have also developed a bruised feeling around my tailbone (I haven't fallen) which makes it tricky to sit down at work, im not sure of this is related.
I contacted my doctor again, you have to put in all the details of your issues online. As a result, I've been given a phone appointment.
I started with endo symptoms at 11, I used to be crippled, vomit and pass out, and I wasn't taken seriously and told I'd grow out of it. I didn't get a diagnosis til I was 22 and I had to literally BEG to see the gyn. Also, while I understand that it is unlikely someone my age would have cancer, young cancer is on my mum and dad's side (mum brother, my dad, both had cancers 'they were too young for').
I'm just wondering if there is ANYTHING ELSE this could be. I'm getting no where with my doctor, so I need to research this myself and find a way to stop the pain. I have already tried popping the cysts (I saw someone's gp told them to do this) and they don't/won't pop. I just need help and can't seem to get it. Help with any of the above is appreciated xxx
