Underarm bulg

Hi folks. I'm looking for advice. When I look in the mirror with a bra on or off the right under arm bulg is bigger. (The bit where breast meets underarm) There is no pain. It's probably a good inch larger I'm not massive I'm a size 12/14 . I hope that makes sense. Should I be concerned or what is your thoughts? . I have always had extra tissue there but always felt it was even before now.

    Hi,

    You should definately get it checked out. I also had a swelling and tenderness in the same area, and another in the armpit and my GP thought it was swollen glands or that I had pulled a muscle. Unfortunately she was wrong, and after a few wasted months going around the houses (Covid didnt help matters) I went to A &E. Within a couple of weeks I was diagnosed with secondary breast cancer.
    Hopefully your swelling will be nothing to worry about but please dont ignore it.

    Thank you and sorry to hear of your struggle to be diagnosed. I think there is possibly a small lump there too but not obvious. I went years ago with what I felt was a small lump elsewhere on breast and gp couldn't feel it so its made me less certain. I recently had a throat infection so I wonder if it could be causing the swelling in glands. I have looked and looked but there is little discussion on breast cancer in this area. Thanks again. X
