Two weeks ago I noticed a lump halfway down my neck on the left. I spoke to my GP and they advised I wait 3/4 weeks as it sounds like swollen gland and could go away on its own in that time but they would get me an ultrasound if it's still there after that time.
I've been worried as i wouldnt say I've had any obvious illness that would bring it on but I know this isn't always the case. I did have my first covid vaccine 6 days before I noticed it so wondered if that could be linked.
Since speaking to my Dr I've had aches at the base of my head, down the side of my neck where the swelling is and across my shoulders. It comes and goes and isn't terrible but uncomfortable. The last couple of days my hand has felt slightly crampy and achey and occasionally my arm/armpit and I'm not sure if this is linked or I'm just worrying about everything now. The Dr did tell me to get back in touch if I needed but I don't want to freak out as I know I get anxious about these things more than I should (hence ending up here for advice)
Has anyone any experience of these symptoms or think I should contact my Dr again? I'm thinking I should just wait until she advised and go from there but I'm so fed up of worrying that I might have something more serious.
Thanks for any help/experiences.
