Hi Everyone,
Like anyone I worry! Basically I found a lump in my neck in January. When I came back to uni last month I went to the doctors who had done some bloods that found my liver and white blood cells were a little elevated. So the doctor had a fell and put me through on an urgent referral to see a haematology consultant. Today I had that appointment. The doctor said the lump wasn't that big and that my bloods suggested it was reactive. He has told me I will have an ultrasound with a possible biopsy and will then have a phone call appointment with him in 3 weeks. My concern is this is still fast paced and if he thought it was nothing I wouldn't be having an ultrasound. I guess I'm worried. I also feel rather confused as I don't really know if that was a positive or negative appointment. I am extremely tired and am currently on a placement in a school and finding it quite tough.
I want to know your experiences of everything so please if you feel comfortable I would love to hear them.
Robyn xx
