Hi I have been on here a few times, I'm currently waiting to have a vacuum excision done on a breast lesion. I got a call with my biopsy results 11 days ago and they told me I would need this procedure done. As far as I was aware it was to be at the breast clinic using ultrasound and vacuum to remove it. Still no appointment letter so I called the hospital today and was told the referral was put in 11 days ago but hadn't yet been seen to.

I was hoping by now I would have had appointment but turns out it was just being processed today. I was also informed it would be done in the xray department.  I dont understand why it would be there as I was told it would be ultrasound. 

All I want to know is what will happen at this appointment, now I have to go to xray for vacuum excision, can anyone help me please with what to expect?
