Been referred breast cancer clinic

Hello everyone,

Im 30 years old I had recently found a lump in my left breast and went to my gp yesterday thinking she would tell me all is OK and to go home and stop worrying. However, that didn't happen and I got a phone call this morning from the breast clinic in Aintree.

I'm so worried about going, can someone explain what will happen and roughly how long I'll be in there for?! 

Unfortunately my partner can't come with me due to work commitments so my dad will be taking me and don't want him to be stuck in the car for hours.

    Hi,

    I went the doctor yesterday too. I'm like you was very optimistic and not worried about it but now I just can't think straight.. however, I'm still trying to be positive! I've kept myself super busy today which has helped!

    My head is being logical and spouting all the percentage stuff and my emotions are like oh my god my hubby and my baby parrot fall out what's gonna happen to them 

    Irrational fears mixed with matter of fact data and outcomes 

    All this this underlines is that we are all human we are different and right now we all need a little t l c
