Hello Jade, 

I just wanted to welcome you to our forum. I hope you won't have to wait too long for your MRI scan. It's great news that your colposcopy results were clear but I can imagine it must be a very stressful time for you while waiting now to find out what is going on with your tonsil.  

I know it is really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. Your doctor will be in the best position to explain things to you and to answer questions you may have as to whether the high risk HPV diagnosis has anything to do with this or whether it is totally unrelated. Do mention to your doctor too  that you are worried about this abdominal pain you have been experiencing. The best thing to do to avoid thinking too much about all this is to keep busy and distracted if you can and avoid looking things up online. I can imagine it is hard for you to do this at the moment but it will help you feel a little less anxious. 

I hope you will also hear from others here who have been through all this before and that they will be along soon to share their story with you.

Hi jade - I tested positive for HPV in January and have been having issues with my throat since about October- it's so hard not to put two and two together. My symptoms

are, a feeling of something in my throat, I would say that it comes and goes but is 90% always there at the moment - the doctor has put this down to Globus Sensation possibly due to Acid reflux. I also have a swollen right tonsil, and my tongue is a bit white sometimes. My ears feel a little full or blocked sometimes but not too bad. I am in no pain with my throat or tonsil which I feel makes it more sinister somehow? I have also been experiencing some stomach discomfort. Anyway, I'm freaking out but everything moves so slowly with the doctors at the moment - hope you're doing ok
