I recently had a transvaginal ultrasound as I was complaining repeatedly to the GP about a feeling of pressure in my pelvic area. This was initially an issue back in April/May-at that time the nurse examined me and saw an ectropion which was later confirmed at colposcopy. I had a clear CA125 blood test at that time.
I felt my symptoms had died down across the summer but the past couple of months I have felt the pressure type sensation daily along with backache, and going to the toilet slightly more often. I also have indigestion quite frequently.
the doctor rang yesterday with the results of my ultrasound to say I have a mass on my right ovary which has some of the appearances of a tumour I am beside myself. I have read the report and the sonographer has said she saw a mass of cystic and complex makeup but she saw internal vascularity which I am convinced means this is a malignant mass. She has also noted a 1.5cm solid nodule beside the mass so does this mean it's spreading? I have to wait for a gynaecologist referral. The doctor will redo the ca125 next week (we are currently self isolating until then)
I can't sleep, can hardly eat, am convinced I am going to die. I have a 6 year old daughter who needs her mum
