I noticed that you'd not had a reply yet to your post and just wanted to pop along and offer you that virtual hug! I'm sure that it will have been really difficult to hear that the team have found some small lesions on your lungs and it's understandable that you're feeling as you are. 

I would imagine you have lots of unanswered questions at the moment and this period of uncertainty is always difficult. 

You might find it helpful to talk things through with one of our team of nurses. I'm sure they will have some information and advice they can offer you along with maybe helping you compile a list of questions that you might want to ask your Consultant at the next appointment. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040. Give them a call.

Hello Rozza11,

                     about the only good thing in your post is that the lesions have been picked up and are small.Its a scary thought to think that they might be matastatic,lurking about for this length of time.At least your body has had time to recover from the first battering,and hopefully your mind has too.l am well aware of the toll it takes on both,since l can exactly match your journey with the added "benefit" of radiotherapy that did for another body function alongside the neuropathy kindly endowed upon me from the chemo.

                        You have age on your side and hopefully a better understanding of how best to manage  this time around,helping to reduce stress. l cannot say that in your shoes l would relish  your latest challenge,but suspect those of us that have been through this before,have well measured reserves of bloody minded stubborness and determination to call upon, so you will have to pull yours out of storage,dust them down,and put them to good use.
