Face to Face results

HI, My mother had a colonoscopy last Tuesday, they found some polyps and took some samples and a sample from a swelling she had.

they made her an appointment for Wed for the results, im just really worried that they wouldnt get her into the hospital especially as were in Lockdown unless there was something to worry about.  Has anyone else been in this situation during during lockdown? xx

    I noticed that your Mum was due to see the Consultant for her colonoscopy results today and just wanted to post to ask how the appointment went. 
    If there's anything that you wanted to talk to our nurses about then you're welcome to call them. They're available Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm on 0808 800 4040.

    Hi Katyt.

    Many consultants ALWAYS call their patients in for a face-to-face consultation when they give their results.  In fact, it often happens that the date of the consultation is set even before the results of the tests are known. 

    I hope your mum's results turned out OK.
