Hello. Been reading some remarkably brave experiences on here & as others can do it, thought I'd get in touch.
Over last 18 months I've had pretty much constant joint pains - have lived with it as chats with friends put it down to age as they've had exactly the same experience (none of them are medically qualified).
More recently (as in last few months) I've been experiencing more noticeable pain in right shoulder (front & back), right-hand side of jaw/neck and a dull ache in what seems to be in back in area of ribs/shoulder blade with pain spreading down right arm - as if something trapped. I won't go to doctor afraid of what might hear. My partner has been amazingly supportive and suggests if it was anything sinister, the pain would be there all the time even when sitting still or lying down.
I've also recently had antibiotics for a tooth abscess on same side as all the pain & am hoping (in a warped way), that feeling this drained & rough all the time will pass when tooth is out and it's all psychological.
Hope no-one thinks I'm overreacting but I am honestly scared as I suddenly lost my Dad to lung cancer within 7 weeks of diagnosis. He hadn't told any of us if he'd been in pain or if he'd suffered any symptoms in particular so I've nothing to compare.
Take care everyone x
