Hi,
So 2 weeks ago, I saw on facetime, a lump on my sons neck. He's 3 years old and has been really tired the last 2 or 3 months and had started to get dark bags under his eyes as well as not eating as much as he'd normally eat. I called the doc straight away and was told to wait up to 2 weeks in case he came out in a viral infection. 4 days later, his neck was really blue and the lump was still there (the beginning of the year he had an episode where his lips went blue and had to have an ECG but was fine at the time). So I called the docs again and was told to come in. As soon as the doctor saw the size of it she said she was very concerned, as it is a bit bigger than a golf ball. She checked him over and asked me about any history of childhood cancers - which completely freaked me out. I also found later that evening, a video from July, where the lump was actually viable since then! So he was sent for a blood test the next day and has also requested an ultrasound of his neck. Got the blood results back today from the receptionist saying they were fine. So I guess now it's just waiting for the ultrasound! My partner has hugged me and said well at least it's not what we thought it couldve been... But I said, you can't just tell by bloods! And now I don't know if I'm worrying over nothing or if I should still be just as concerned until the ultrasound? He's just not himself at all and keeps saying he doesn't feel good but can't tell me what it is that's making him not feel good and tired but not giving in to napping. Just keep getting so upset about it all, as I'm 6 months pregnant and had a stressful few months as it is. Just want to be told my little boy is alright! Xx
