i sm going through the same at the moment. 
 

i have a swollen lump on my right side under my ribs. It's a little painful to touch and I have been having a stitch like dull ache the last few days. 
 

I am 31 and just been referred for an ultrasound which could take up to 6 weeks and some bloods in a couple of days. 
 

feeling very anxious about it all.  

Hi i have the same little lump under my right rib and it is slightly sore when i touch it.  I am also 31. I have been meaning to book an appointment but scared as im already thinking the worst. Hope yours went well.. has anyone had any news back from this?

So all my bloods came back fine except I am folate deficienct and so I am on folic acid. 
 

I have my scan on 20th March - ages away I'm so anxious about it all still and have recently been to a&e with a suspected DVT too so I have a Doppler scan on my leg tomorrow. 
 

what I hate is that it all seems to point to negative things for me. 
 

honestly though if you are worried go and see the GP it might be something nice and simple :) 

Oh okay hope your scan goes well tomorrow.. if its any comfort i had a dvt when i was like 21 im 31 now.. in my leg too. I just got put on blood thinning tablets and it dissapeared :) i wouldnt think the worst of that. It could from something as simple as not walking around enough.

At first I thought it was an issue with my kidney... it was a continuous dull ache, since Xmas. I had bloods and a urine sample and it all came back fine apart from having low folate. The ache stayed, it gets worse as the day goes on.

now I'm sure I can feel a hard lump on the bottom of my right rib.. it's almost bruise like to touch and the ache is still there? 

My pain also gets worse as the day goes on, espeically at night! How big would you say your lump is? Mine is maybe about a 1cm circle it feels like?

I would say mine may be slightly bigger but not by much. Have you been to your GP? 

I did, he seemed to think it was my spleen, that it was enlarged, but now that I think back to it, I don't think I got him to feel the right area, he felt more to the left of where mine is! Is yours hard like bone as well? Mine feels like it could quite honestly be bone attatched to my ribs!

I have these exact symptoms the ache get unbearable as the day goes on I've had an ultrasound but the sonographer said it all looked normal , the dr keeps saying that it's the bottom of my rib that I can feel but I'm adamant there is a firm lump there and it hurts to touch like a bruise they keep saying I must of bumped it and ribs take a long time to heel but I'm not satisfied 

I am waiting for an ultrasound and bloods. All the same symptoms as other people. Under my right rib. Sore but not painful. I keep trying not to prod it, but it's difficult. Also trying not to google stuff as the prognosis is t good. Dr has referred to it as a 'gallstone mass' I am so worried and anxious. Sorry, just needed to get that out.
