It takes a while to get results from biopsies - I think I waited about 4 weeks.  Were you given a printout of the tests etc that were undertaken during the colonoscopy?  In my case, the colonoscopist made time to talk to myself and my husband after the procedure (once I had recovered from the mild sedation) and told us straight away that he had seen cancer.  Now I'm not saying that in if you didn't have that conversation you don't have cancer, far from it, but just that different settings may have different approaches.  You're obviously worried - and who wouldn't be - so you should definitely try to find out more either via your GP or from the hospital where your procedure took place.

I didnt get any paperwork just told 10-14 days but well  past that now.   Got scan letter in last week.

Yes I'll phone Monday really need to know now.
