Hi Guys
First off I know I would be young to have PC at only 38 but its not unheard of and i'm terrified. Been having issues for the last six weeks (12 June) had a pain accross my chest after a heavy night out which I chalked up to indigestion and it was gone by the Monday so thought no more of it; then two weeks later the pain came back in the left hand side under my ribs went to the docs who gave me omazrapole and told to get some bloods done. Booking a blood appointment took an age and one of the test was for H.Pylori so I ordered it from Lloyds and it was negative however the pain was getting more intense when eating and my BM started to look lighter. Last week I had intense pain and ended up in A&E they did full bloods and urine test which all came back clear and the Dr thought it was either Gastritis or Gall Stones left at 2am and went home to bed. On Saturday just gone the pain felt more like a stabbing cramp and I think with a mixture of anxiety and a panic attack I went back to A&E and they did another round of bloods which came back clean along with a mini ultrasound that ruled out and immediate issues with kidneys, gallbladder or spleen. Got the appointment for an ultrasound on 2 August but i'm totally terrified, I've lost 3 ibs in a week, can't concentrate and can't stop looking at patient stories to see if this is how they presented :( - I just feel time is of the essence with this type of 'nasty' and the time to get appointments is making me worse; I've got private care so am booked in with a Consultant tonight but I know he will just order more tests that will take time...more time....
