Hey, I completely understand your worry. When I had my first smear test my colposcopy appt came through before my results and my results came back with high grade results so as you can imagine I was completely freaked out. I'd also had ongoing issues in that region so was completely convinced I had cervical cancer. When I went to the appt it was no where near as bad as what I had built it up to be. Yes I had some dodgy cells but these would take years to develope I to anything sinister if they evan did. They tested the cells and removed them and put me on a yearly check up. My next appt showed some signs again so had to have another biopsy which confirmed all cells had been removed. My next one was completely clear and I'm not back to the normal fequesncy of checks. I hope my experience puts your mind at rest as I get how scary this is x
