Heyy,
So last year i went through haematology in May/June for possible lymptoma. They weren't concerned at that time. Symptoms of itching all over, feeling really tired, night sweats and my ESR came back at 17 which isnt high but raised slightly, CRP came back slightly raised too. Other bloods have been boarderline normal. Sometimes my platelets are high and the seperate parts of my whit cells are lower like nutrophils/lymphocytes but overall normal. Had a CT scan in May last year and nothing was seen.
So 1 year later still feeling poop, still getting night sweats, random itching but not as bad. Now howevee i have had a persistant low grade fever since jan/feb almost everyday. Paracetamol doesn't touch it, anti fungals doesnt touch it i have a toe nail issue and questioned if it could cause it and nope. Covid 19 screen is negative. This weekend had a kidney infection which has never happened before in my life. I have been on antibiotic since saturday finish them today tempreture is still consistantly 38- 38.4. I am exhausted if i am honest. My abdomen feels swollen around the spleen/liver area and has been for the past month or two however due to covid my gp's are not seeing patients with a temp. I had a lump in my armpit start of this year had an ultrasound and was told its fine and it eventually went away. My mum has noticed that the left side of where my jaw meets my neck is more swollen than the right and the lump was in the left armpit.
I think basically i am asking if anyone has any experience with persistant temps and did you find a cause for it ? Whether cancer or not? Should i attempt to explain this to my doctor?
Thanks for reading this essay and i hope you guys are as well as you can be sending love. Xxx
