Welcome to Cancer Chat! I am sorry that you have had to see the doctor so many times before being referred to ENT. I hope that you won't need to wait too long for your appointment. I know it's really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do at the moment is to keep busy and focused and avoid resorting to Dr Google as it is famously unreliable and will only make you feel more worried. Perhaps you could talk to your GP about how anxious this is making you feel and the fact that you are unable to sleep or eat anything. 

It won't be long now before you are seen by a specialist and we are keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.

Hi-

i have been referred but they said they will contact me with an appointment so hopefully they will contact soon. Good news though- my throat problem is a lot better so I have a very strong feeling it was/is to do with anxiety as I suffer very badly. I know that if it was cancer it wouldn't get 'better' it would be constant and get worse. So I believe everything will be okay. I don't have any problems swallowing or eating so that's a plus also! Anxiety can come through in many many ways and mines comes physically unfourtunatly! I hope your okay and let me
