Throat Issues

Hi-

Ive suffered with choking sensation, throat closing, tight throat, something stuck in my throat for about 3 months now. 

I have visited the doctors so many times, they said it was silent reflux which i took omeprazole for a month (didnt work), they then said it was globus sensation...i really believe its something more serious. They have refused to send me to ENT because of coronavirus but i rang the doctor again and they said they are reffering me to ENT and hopefully be seen asap. Im really paniking, im genuinly struggling so much, i cant sleep, eat do anything. Im 21 years old also and i am so scared that its cancer. 

 

Can anyone help? Thanks

    Welcome to Cancer Chat! I am sorry that you have had to see the doctor so many times before being referred to ENT. I hope that you won't need to wait too long for your appointment. I know it's really hard but try not to worry too much or anticipate what it might be. The best thing to do at the moment is to keep busy and focused and avoid resorting to Dr Google as it is famously unreliable and will only make you feel more worried. Perhaps you could talk to your GP about how anxious this is making you feel and the fact that you are unable to sleep or eat anything. 

    It won't be long now before you are seen by a specialist and we are keeping everything crossed for you that everything turns out fine.
