Although im mindful of scaring you, I'm also someone who tells people things straight because I think acceptance is important. I've learnt this through the job I do - first aid trainer. 

For me, what particularly resonated in your post was when you said you could only feel the lump when you stick your chest out. That is how I found mine to begin with. However, life and I won't say I'm wrong in saying this, work, got in the way of me seeing a doctor. Yes the lump was hard but it also moved.  I have also had shoulder pain for some time but I don't know if that is linked or not. All I know is it still hurts and is the same side as the cancer and that I'm now going to have the opportunity to have an MRI scan for it.

My story is such a long one and probably not one for on here. There is an option where we can message each other directly like you can on Facebook. I would prefer to do that then I'll give you my mob no if you want and we can do all the talking you feel like doing if it is the news you don't want.

All good, I had a mammogram and ultra sound scan, no sign of any cancerous tissue apparently I have alot of fibrous tissue close to the surface of my breast which is what I could feel.

Hi Andi, great news!!! I had a ultrasound and it showed all normal breast tissue. She said I had benign breast changes in the right boob but this was all normal. So pleased for us both! Cait xx
