Hi, I am new to this site but came on looking for some reassurance really.
I went to the docs recently with the following symptoms:
Lower tummy pain/cramps
Bloating
Lower back pain
Feeling full and not really getting hungry
Tiredness
I am 42 years old and I had a hysterectomy around 10 years ago due to issues with Endometreosis. My ovaries remain.
I was sent to have an ultrasound today on my pelvis and renal area, I wasn't really too concerned as I thought maybe its just the endometriosis back again, which is a pain but i've been there before. But at the scan the sonographer took a rather long time looking at my left lower pelvic area and lots of pics and typing, she did look at the right but seemed more focused on the left and now I am concerned there was something showing on the scan.
I have to wait a week for results and I am already worrying, trying not to but can't seem to forget about it.
Is it normal for the sonographer to spend a longer period of time focussed on one area in particular? Or is that usually a sign of something not quite right?
