My mum died last July of liver, lung, bone and throat cancer. It started 4 years earlier with breat cancer.
On Sunday I found a mass, the surrounding area was numb and the skin was puckered when I raised my arm. My GP this morning has referred me and I will be having a mammogram, biopsy, ultrasound and see a surgeon all on the same day.
I've had these tests before but each procedure was done with time in between. Doing it all in one day is causing me to think it's more sinister.
Has anyone else had this approach and what was the outcome. I'm so scared.
