Please help me identify this lump

Theres a hard lump on my pubic area down there(I'm a female). Its pea sized and theres a bit of pressure when pressed down on. Theres discomfort when I'm walking as it's close to my bikini line. How concerned should I be. It might just be an irritated ingrown hair but surely it wouldnt be hard-ish to touch..?? Please could I get possible answers

    Hi yesterday I was taking a shower and found a lump down there also. I rang my gp and a nurse asked me to come in today. I've never been so scared. I googled and it was definitely the wrong thing to do. The nurse tells me it's a cyst. Very normal and will go away on its own. I hope you got this sorted x
