Had ct 3 weeks ago this thursday coming where will i get results from , the gastro doc at hospital asked for it to be done but i have no follow up appointment for results .
I would ring the department or the doctors secretary and ask for either the results or an appointment, sometimes they send results to your GP so you could try there also. Results if urgent are normally received very quickly, after biopsies showed cancer I was called in within 48 hours and with my initial CT scan after diagnosis I had an appointment within a few to discuss it further. I also had an MRI last week and had results the next morning as my nurse knew I was worried, luckily it was fine.
I've had MRI and CT results from my GP before I've heard from the hospital. In fact, I ask my GP to print out the whole report for me so I can read it at my leisure. It's definitely worth asking at the surgery to see if they're available.
No cancer found sl relieved but why am i in so much pain and still all the symptoms so its back to docs again must be a functional problem in my abdomen
