People are saying me too, I would have heard by now if it was bad news, I know it's my negative head, but some people kn here have waited 8 weeks then had bad news, I rang hospital the friday before xmas and secretary said results were not back yet, I had hysteroscopy on 6th december, so it's been a long wait, I think xmas/ new year has just ballsed waiting times coz some offices shut etc

They said to me about marina coil too, but I've also tried it, I'd been on the pill for years and was advised due to my age  to swap to coil, that was in 2012, I had awfull problems with it and demanded after 6 weeks to take it out, I decided to be sterilised as I was almost 40 at that time and have 4 children, they agreed to it.

It's only been since about a year ago that my periods have become very heavy, the gp blamed it on perimenopause but after 6 months I went bk and demanded further tests, 

What I'm confused about is radiologist measured a thickening, it measured 10mm, I then saw consultant who said it's probably a polyp and booked me in for hysteroscopy, 

During hysteroscopy he said it wasnt a polyp but needed to take biopsy

I asked what it was and he just ignored me

It's so confusing isn't it. I was told I may have a polyp too but when they did the hysteroscopy, she said it wasn't and the lining of my womb was that thick, it was probably that that showed up on my scan and made them think it was a polyp.

I'm 37 so not near menopause yet and not on the pill. I really hope you get some answers today. Please let me know. Thinking of you x

Ive just had a call from the secretary in response to my voicemail yesterday. I should have a letter next week as the results are with the consultant now. Whether that means they haven't been looked at before now I'm not sure. 

Fingers crossed you hear soon, secretary told me yesterday shes printed them out and in consultants tray as urgent, (as I've waited do long) but hes not back in office till next week

I rang today and had another version of what is going on. Apparently the main secretary is on sick leave and the person covering is on leave. They said they would speak to the consultant on Monday, but said she hasn't even looked at my results yet! I don't know what to think now!
