  • Hi Roger.  Welcome to the forum.

Sorry to hear you've got prostate cancer, but if it's early stage then it's frequently curable.

Anyway, to answer your question. FIrst off, if you're normally resident in the UK then your prostate cancer treatment will be free under the NHS.  I had prostate cancer treatment (robotic surgery) back in 2010 when I was 56, and obviously I'm still here to tell the tale.  I received world class treatment and I doubt that I could have got any better anywhere else in the world.

If you're not normally resident in the UK then you still might get treatment in whatever country you're living in if there's a reciprocal agreement - assuming Brexit doesn't snark it up.

Of course, it is possible you're thinking of getting an experimental treatment that the NHS can't offer you.  If that's the case then it will probably be expensive wherever you go, and the prices here may well be similar.

If you're looking for conventional treatment (surgery, say) then it's worth looking at South America, Eastern Europe, and India.

  • HI Roger I am agree with telemando you can try with NHS but if you decide to travel for treatment then India and Thailand would be the best options.

I also had my knee surgery in India 3 years back but i went to India with a Medical Tourism facilator. Which helped me and made me easy to get visa and choose hospitals and doctors.

If you are on early stage of prostate cancer you can go to India or Thailand Both have good options of treatement at a resonable cost.

The only problem you will face is choosing the medical tourism facilator. You can try the once i choose lyfboat .otherwise you can google it and check.
