A journey

I came across this forum whilst researching calcification s. I was found to have 8 calcifications and over 2 years later (there is a story behind the delay) the 8 were found to be malignant.   I have had a mastectomy ( there was cancer cells in the tissue).  And now had breast reconstruction.

Unfortuantly waiting for results is one thing we all have to go through and it is soul destroying.  The one thing I would think is important is to ask about everything and to have someone with you.  I never knew about calcifications and only thought cancer came in lumps!! And I’m 70.   I hope all the women who are waiting get good results and if results are not so good research what your diagnosis and talk with clinicians who will help
