Hi Natalie, I am sorry to hear that you have found a lump. The wait is the worst part. My lump is on my right breast. It's about 2cm and it did move.at your ultrasound they will do ultrasound to see if it has fluid in or if it's hard lump.they did biopsy after saying its hard lump.i no they can tell if its C on ultrasound, but they have to do biopsy to confirm 100percent. I asked the dr who did ultrasound if she thought it was suspicious.she said she cant not rule out C word as just yet.i new from then that I had it.it was gut feeling.and to be honest i cried loads since i found out.i prob still cry until my tears dry up. Try not to worry as it still could be breast tissue or cyst. Good luck x

Mine is definitely fixed and doesn’t feel like it’s got fluid in but it’s hard to tell.

Hey hun, Im also called Natalie, rubbish we have both joined the pre, what the hell is it club. I know it seems like an age away Sat, try and keep busy till then its helping me be distracted. Im 38 so keep being told its nothing but i suppose ill find out Weds. Yeah, mine too, im trying to feel for an irregular shaped border but havemnt got a clue, just know the doc said its hard and fixed. Its just a guessing game till we see the proffessionals ehh.  Id say try not to worry, but i dont listen to my own advice, so keep yourself busy, plan something fun with a friend. can’t believe we are both called Natalie and pretty much the same age i’m 38 in feb. 

I have a cyst before in my left boob and that felt like a marbel and I can kind of move it round, they still took a biopsy on that 5 year ago to be sure and the results where a cyst. 

Yhis lump is totally different. My period is normally between the 15th and 19th and since I found it I have hoped it would be early as that could explain the lump but nothing yet. 

I’ve researched loads this last week and have convinced myself it’s bad a long with that gut instinct. 

Like you say we’ll only know after been seen and the tests complete. It’s just horrible waiting. 

I hope your appointment goes well hin and you get good news.

i had my breast clinic yesterday and they give me a mammogram then an ultra sound and then a ultrasound core biopsy they ruled out s cyst. And I looked at the sheet they keep turned over the mammogram and ultrasound said grade 3 which when I asked they said the grading of scans are 1 and 2 not cancer 4 and 5 cancer but 3 is still no mans land as they said there was a lump that was solid but could still be benign I think they where fobbing me off so I didn’t worry. They didn’t say what it could be? So that’s why I think it’s cancer but I really check my boobs every month with out fail! Before my core biopsy they already booked me back at the hospital on the 23 Oct for results. Which again makes me think it’s bad because normally the gp would just tell me.how did you get on Natalie xx

Hi all. I would like all women who have ANY change however insignificant to see their doctor asap.I noticed a slight thickening. I’m in my late 70s but rang the nurse and in 10 days had had all the tests, a biopsy confirmed and surgery carried out - all in 10 days. Mine was triple negative but given my age I decided not to have chemo but had 20 sessions of radio. My point is it’s your body. We have this great NH S and I truly believe we have the best cancer treatment in the world. I wish you all the very best. I know I’m lucky I don’t have a young family to consider but the flip side is I have an older husband.
