As a cancer sufferer we know the hell we go through and how it makes us feel.

Did your gynaecologist have any answers as to the high levels in your blood?

Have you had a CT scan?

I would want this double checking with the GP and the Gyni team.

I hope they are right though and you have no cancer, it's better than a lottery win!

A high CA125 blood test only means there's a problem with one or both ovaries.  It's not a specific test for ovarian cancer.  Your doctor really should know that.  I think it's fair enough to be warned that cancer is a possible diagnosis, but that diagnosis must always be confirmed by a specialist after all the tests have been done. 

That said, it's great news that you've been given the all clear by the specialist.
